Marcos Serrano is an artist whose lens permeates sensibility. It permits him to read faces, eyes, expressions, the eternal dynamic that flows from the soul. Marcos knows how to look into the traces of time. As an artist, he has the intuition to decide the precise moment of an exact facial expression and capture it forever. Marcos Serrano was born on March 29, 1972 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He grew up with his grandparents in Ciales, Puerto Rico. At a young age, Marcos started to show a special interest for the arts in general, including painting and music. His love and sensibility for the arts have contributed to his development as an artist. He graduated from Juan Ríos Serpa High School in Ciales, PR at the age of seventeen, where he took an architectural design course. After he graduated from high school, he decided to start a career in graphic design at the José A. Genaro College in Manatí, Puerto Rico, where he obtained an Associate Degree. Later, his interest and passion for photography motivated him to join the "Escuela de Artes Plásticas" in Old San Juan, where he studied photography and human figure drawing. On 1997, he decided to move to the City of Orlando, Florida looking for more and better opportunities to grow as an artist. He has participated in various art events in Central Florida that have let him show his talents and abilities. Through his work of photography you would be able to see the influence he has from his puertorrican roots, the love and passion he has for his culture and the history of his country and also the interest he has for historical architectural designs. "Portrait photography becomes a very interesting task as you discover people's characters and personalities. They become like windows to the spectator. A well distributed and composed photograph can cause a good impact in a life leaving a significant mark. I want to share my art and show you several works that reveal messages and feelings toward the works of art and composition. It's interesting to discover and enjoy a different world through the lens of photography. It's like a time machine in which an important moment in history is captured. A photographer is an artist in which the canvas and the palette meets within the lens of the camera, but the expression lies within the sensibility of his spirit."
